Dr. Katherine L. Larson is a weaver and researcher whose Norwegian-American heritage inspired her study of Norwegian textile traditions. She is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Washington, and serves on the editorial board of the Norwegian Textile Letter. Larson lives on Bainbridge Island, WA.Laurann Gilbertson is chief curator at Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum. Vesterheim explores the diversity of American immigration through the lens of the Norwegian-American experience.
